The Coastal Pines Technical College (CPTC) Foundation is making a significant investment in hands-on workforce training with the purchase of a 2016 41M Altec Bucket Truck for the college’s Electrical Lineworker program.
The addition of the bucket truck will provide Electrical Lineworker students on the Baxley Campus with valuable opportunities to train on equipment commonly used in the electrical utility industry. By incorporating industry-relevant equipment into the classroom and lab environment, students can develop practical skills and experience that will help prepare them for careers in the field.
The Electrical Lineworker program prepares students for careers in an essential industry, providing hands-on training in areas such as electrical systems, safety, equipment operation, and other skills necessary for work in the utility field.
