The Coastal Pines Technical College (CPTC) Foundation has received a $35,000 donation from the Terry Thomas Foundation, continuing its longstanding support of students in Glynn County through the Terry Thomas Memorial Scholarship.
This scholarship provides financial assistance to Glynn County students attending Coastal Pines Technical College, helping to reduce the cost of tuition and other educational expenses as they pursue workforce-ready careers.
The Terry Thomas Foundation, located in Glynn County on Sea Island, was established in 2004. Although Ms. Terry Thomas passed away in 2011, her legacy continues to make a meaningful impact across the community through ongoing support of education and student success.
Susan Goodhue, Executive Director of the Terry Thomas Foundation, recently presented the donation to Stephanie Roberts, Executive Director of College Advancement at Coastal Pines Technical College.
“We are incredibly grateful for the Terry Thomas Foundation’s continued investment in our students,” said Stephanie Roberts, Executive Director of College Advabcement. “This generous gift not only honors Ms. Thomas’s legacy, but also creates real opportunities for Glynn County students to pursue their education, build meaningful careers, and strengthen the communities they call home.”
