The Coastal Pines Technical College Foundation has announced that the John P. Pike Memorial Scholarship Golf Tournament originally scheduled for Friday, October 9, has been postponed to Friday, November 6, due to inclement weather and worsening conditions at the golf course.

The decision was made to prioritize the safety and experience of golfers, sponsors, volunteers and guests while ensuring the tournament can be enjoyed as planned.

“We appreciate the continued support of our golfers, sponsors and community partners, and we apologize for any inconvenience this change may cause,” said Stephanie Roberts, Executive Director of College Advancement. “We look forward to welcoming everyone back on November 6 for a great day of golf and fellowship in support of Coastal Pines Technical College students.”

The John P. Pike Memorial Scholarship Golf Tournament is an annual fundraiser benefiting the Coastal Pines Technical College Foundation and its efforts to provide scholarships and support to students throughout the college’s 13-county service area.

All golfers, sponsors, community partners and friends are encouraged to mark their calendars for Friday, November 6, and join the Coastal Pines Technical College Foundation for the rescheduled tournament.

The Foundation appreciates the community’s understanding and continued investment in Coastal Pines Technical College students and their success.
