Coastal Pines Technical College (CPTC) will celebrate the achievements of its graduates during its annual Commencement Ceremony on Thursday, June 11, at 7 p.m. at Wayne County High School.
The ceremony will recognize students who have successfully completed Technical Certificates of Credit, diplomas, and associate degree programs, as well as graduates who have earned their High School Equivalency credential through the college's Adult Education program.
A total of 89 graduates are expected to participate in the ceremony. As of June 2026, Coastal Pines Technical College has awarded 1,226 credentials to 970 students, highlighting the college's commitment to preparing a skilled workforce for Southeast Georgia and beyond.
Family members, friends, faculty, staff, and community supporters are invited to join in honoring the accomplishments of the graduating class. For those unable to attend in person, a livestream of the ceremony will be available on the college's YouTube channel.
"We are incredibly proud of the hard work, determination, and perseverance demonstrated by each of our graduates," said Lonnie Roberts, president of Coastal Pines Technical College. "Each credential earned represents an investment in a brighter future for our students, their families, and the communities they serve. We look forward to celebrating this significant milestone and the impact these graduates will have on Georgia's workforce."
