Coastal Pines Technical College Names Eugenia Evans Adult Education Teacher of the Year

Coastal Pines Technical College is proud to announce Eugenia Evans, English Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) Instructor on the Waycross Campus, as the recipient of the Adult Education Teacher of the Year award.

Evans was selected for her exceptional dedication to student success and her unwavering commitment to supporting English language learners through high-quality instruction and personalized support. As an ESOL instructor, she plays a critical role in helping students build language skills that open doors to educational advancement, workforce opportunities, and greater community engagement.

Known for her compassion, patience, and innovative teaching approach, Evans creates an inclusive and encouraging learning environment where students feel empowered to succeed. Her ability to connect with learners from diverse backgrounds and meet them where they are has made a lasting impact on both her students and colleagues. Eugenia has taught ESOL at Coastal Pines Technical College’s Adult Education Program for over 20 years
