Coastal Pines Technical College Dual Enrollment Spotlight: Cash Carter
Coastal Pines Technical College (CPTC) is proud to spotlight Cash Carter, a distinguished Dual Enrollment student and senior at Ware County High School. Cash’s involvement in Dual Enrollment began long before he enrolled in his first college course. Growing up, he attended information nights, helped with recruitment events, and watched his mother, CPTC’s Director of Secondary Initiatives, guide high school students through the college transition process. That early exposure, combined with his mother’s encouragement, inspired Cash to embrace the academic challenge of dual enrollment.
“Dual Enrollment has given me a head start on my college career and confidence in the skills I’ll need as I continue my education,” Cash said.
Throughout high school, Cash has excelled academically while remaining active in sports and various student organizations. By the time he graduates, he will have earned an impressive 51 college credits through CPTC’s Dual Enrollment program.
After high school, Cash plans to attend the University of Georgia to pursue a Business Administration degree with a concentration in Real Estate. His long-term goals include becoming a Real Estate Broker, remaining close to home, and giving back to the community that helped shape him.
Cash encourages other students to take full advantage of the Dual Enrollment opportunities available to them. “Take advantage of this opportunity. I’ve gained so much from the program while staying involved in high school sports and clubs. And if you’re lucky, you may come across a psychology professor as great as Mr. Richie Williams, someone who went above and beyond. A true testament to what Coastal Pines has to offer.”
