The Technical College System of Georgia (TCSG) Office of Adult Education has selected Coastal Pines Technical College as an adult education service provider for the upcoming multi-year competitive grant cycle!
This grant will begin on July 1, 2025, and end on June 30, 2029. This grant award provides federal Adult Education and Family Literacy Act (AEFLA) funding along with state matching funds to support the following adult literacy programmatic activities:
- Adult Basic and Secondary Education
- English Language Acquisition Services
- Integrated English Literacy and Civics Education
- Corrections Education
There are approximately 10,430 adults 18 years of age and older with less than a 12th-grade education and no HSE/GED in Ware County. Coastal Pines Technical College’s Adult Education Program recognizes the importance of securing funding needed to educate, train, and upskill a community in order to sustain and remain trained in an ever-changing competitive economy!
Coastal Pines Technical College and the Adult Education Program greatly appreciate this opportunity to continually serve adult students, and we look forward to our continued partnership with the TCSG Office of Adult Education to strengthen adult literacy services in our community and across Georgia!
