A hole-in-one during the Okefenokee Technical College Foundation Toolbox Scholarship Golf Tournament could win one lucky golfer a beautiful Chevy Silverado from Walker Jones. The tourney is Friday, November 2, at the Okefenokee Golf and Country Club and begins with lunch at 11:30 a.m. Golfers begin play at 12:30 p.m.
In addition to the main prize, golfers who make a hole-in-one on one of the designated par 3 holes are eligible to win a bonus prize. Mike Cuneo, general manager of Walker Jones, encourages participants to “bring their best game” and have fun as they compete for prizes.
Proceeds from the day will benefit OTC students by providing financial assistance with tuition and program “tools” and books. Foundation Chair Larry Paulk, OTC Interim President Dr. Glenn Deibert, and Foundation Director Cindy Tanner would like to thank Mike, Joe, Kelly, and the entire staff at Walker Jones for supporting the Foundation and for adding additional excitement to the game through these great prizes. Walker Jones has been the Hole-in-One sponsor for the OTC Foundation toolbox fundraiser for the past six years.
Golfers, don’t miss the fun. Cash awards, door prizes, and other awards will be delivered after play. For more information, contact Cindy Tanner at (912) 287-5829 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
