Deliveries are made to Fastenal stores primarily during overnight hours to allow us to have as many stores freight delivered as possible before opening at 7:00am. This means that the majority of driving is done at night with most routes scheduled departure time being 10:00-11:00pm.

Participates in institutional and clinical projects to support patient safety, LEAN and/or Quality Academy initiatives, and standard services across the enterprise as directed by leadership. Serves as technical expert to maintain knowledge management system which houses technical documentation to carry out duties needed to complete service installation, configuration, and/or break/fix requests. This position may require individuals to be competent and certified in various types of manufacturer's equipment. May require overtime and on-call participation. Minimum Education and/or Experience Required.

Qualifications: High school diploma or GED, Three (3) years of industrial maintenance experience. Completed an instrument apprentice program, be certified, or have at least 5 years equivalent experience as a Journeyman. Become functional in electrical trade and two (2) additional base skills (pipefitting, millwright, welding, machinist, or carpentry). Proficient in the base skill of instrument mechanic and qualified to perform all tasks associated with troubleshooting, repairing or replacement of mill equipment. This includes being able to draft, read and understand drawings, specifications, and parts list.
