Scholarships Available for High School Seniors & College Students

Scholarships and grants are available to entering freshmen and returning students enrolled at Okefenokee Technical College (Coastal Pines Technical College, effective July 1, 2014) for summer and fall semesters.
In order to be considered for an award, entering students must apply and be accepted for admission to OTC, and all applicants must have a GPA of 2.5 or higher, file a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) at www.fafsa.ed.gov and complete an OTC Foundation Scholarship Application. Applicants do NOT have to be Pell eligible to receive a Foundation Scholarship.
In addition to Toolbox Scholarships and OTC Foundation Academic Scholarships, a number of donor named awards are available, as well, including the following scholarships: Brooksie A. Pike, Charles Eames, Jones Company, Kiley Marissa Music, Monroe Foundation, Okefenokee Ministerial Fellowship, Pat Knox, Satilla Regional Medical Center Auxiliary President’s, Dr. Shirley D. Miller, SunTrust Bank, Waycross Kiwanis, and Waycross, Rotary.
Additional awards are pending and will be available once the fund is endowed, per donor request. For a full list of available scholarships, visit www.okefenokeetech.edu and select About OTC::OTC Foundation::Scholarships. Application deadline is the end of the school year for seniors. However, applications submitted by April 18 for summer semester will be given priority.
