ATC Foundation

On behalf of the Altamaha Technical College Foundation (ATC) Board of Trustees, welcome to the Altamaha Technical College Foundation Web Site. This site extends the Foundation outreach efforts beyond our service area to our alumni, family and friends.

Chartered in 1990, the Foundation began its quest for scholarship funding in support of deserving students. The ATC Foundation’s vision is to be a preferred non-profit organization of private and corporate donations, which are viewed as an investment in the College and economic development of the region.

The Altamaha Technical College Foundation undertakes activities to acquire and manage resources that will facilitate the fulfillment of the mission and goals of the College, while strengthening positive community partnerships.

The Foundation’s Goals are to:

•    Connect with the community to raise awareness of the College by promoting partnerships between individuals, business and industry.

•    Generate and provide resources to meet the College’s assessed needs and help fulfill its mission.

•    Be recognized as a philanthropic leader in maximizing donor investments, which will enhance economic development and the quality of life in the region.

This is an exciting time as Altamaha Technical College and Okefenokee Technical College merged July 1 to become Coastal Pines Technical College.  This merger brings many more opportunities for programs and services for students.  The ATC Foundation has the opportunity to continue serving the needs of students attending the Jesup, Golden Isles, Camden, Baxley and Hazlehurst campuses.

Now is the time to invest in the Foundation. A high job placement rate and an increased demand for a skilled and specialized work force makes a very appealing option to young and old alike as they seek to further their education.

Your commitment to the ATC Foundation, either through annual giving or planned gifts to address college needs is a necessary and worthwhile investment.  Contained within this Web Site is information regarding the Foundation events, scholarships, giving options, and the current trustees.
