Instructor Pam Johnson Receives Accolade!

Pam Johnson, Radiologic Technology Program instructor, was the Coastal Pines Technical College (CPTC) Rick Perkins Award (RPA) winner for the 2018 year. She represented CPTC at the local level, but also placed as one of nine regional Rick Perkins Award winners! Shortly following her announcement as a top nine winner, Pam was announced as the Technologist of the Year at the local Georgia Society of Radiologic Technologists (GSRT), Inc. annual meeting on Saturday, April 28, 2018, in Jekyll Island, Georgia. The award was presented to Ms. Pam Johnson by the outgoing GSRT Chairman of the Board, Kerry Dunn, M.Ed., RT(R) (M).
Each year, the GSRT honors a member for their excellence within the profession. The Technologist of the Year Award is about recognizing a technologist who holds themselves to high professional and ethical standards. It is a person who strives to improve their skills and increase their knowledge within their field while demonstrating a passion for their profession. Congratulations to Pam Johnson in her tenure as the Technologist of the Year for the GSRT and for positively representing Coastal Pines!
