Commercial Truck Driving (Commercial_Truck_Driving.pdf)

Commercial Truck Driving is a 220-hour (8 weeks day/ up to 15 weeks evening) Technical Certificate of Credit program that is designed to provide skills training through classroom, driving range, and on-the-road experiences in order to prepare students to become successful truck drivers. At the completion of the program, students will take the Georgia CDL State Exam.

Electrical Lineworker Apprentice (/Web%20Catalog/electrical-lineworker-el11.htm)

The Electrical Lineworker Apprentice program will prepare individuals for entry level employment as apprentice electrical lineworker candidates with utility companies. The course provides an opportunity to study and practice the basic skills of electrical lineworkers and technicians.

Computaught Courses

For more than fifteen years, Thomson Computaught has led the way in the computer-based real estate education market. The educational quality of its courses has been instrumental in the widespread acceptance among the stringent regulatory arena. Salesperson Pre-License

  • This is a 75 hour course covering basics of ownership, transfer and use of property, real estate law, and finance. This course meets the requirements set by the Georgia Real Estate Commission for prospective licensees.
  • Once you complete your course, you must call OTC and set a time to take your final exam. If you pass your final, you will then be eligible to take the state exam.
  • Fee: $360.00.

Broker Pre-License

  • This is a 60 hour course presenting information that will develop the management skills necessary to open and manage a brokerage office. Topics covered include office operations, broker responsibilities, financial management, and government regulations. Also included, is a review of the fundamentals of real estate. The topics are presented in the order most beneficial to the educational process.
  • Fee: $340.00.


Finance and Settlement Procedures

  • This sales post-license course covers several topics ranging from a review of real estate finance basics, financing methods, math calculations for agents, and a review of closing statement preparation issues.
  • Fee: $140.00 - 25 hour course

Advanced Topics for New Agents

  • This sales post-license course presents topics that the new agent will find helpful in working with clients. The course includes sections on property management, covers BRETTA and contemporary issues in the area of consensual dual agency, a thorough discussion of the tax implications and benefits of home ownership, including required record keeping, and an introduction to the subject of tax free exchanges.
  • Fee: $140.00 - 25 hour course
