Exchange Club of Brunswick Tours New CPTC Golden Isles Facility
December 4, 2015 10:47 AM

Approximately twenty members of the Exchange Club of Brunswick toured the newly constructed Coastal Pines Technical College (CPTC) Golden Isles facility following a regularly scheduled club meeting December 1. CPTC President, Dr. Glenn Deibert
(see photo on right), and Dr. Al Cunningham, vice president for academic affairs, served as guides. Among the group of community leaders was Rep. Alex Atwood, District 179, and Jud Seymour, division director for U.S. First District Congressman Buddy Carter.
The tour followed a presentation by Rep. Alex Atwood in which he, on behalf of the Exchange Club of Brunswick, dedicated the Freedom Shrine donated to CPTC by the Brunswick organization.
Both groups toured classrooms, labs, and the library. Students on the Golden Isles campus will enjoy the lovely new facility with the latest technology and décor, especially the library, which features a beautiful view from the second floor.
Plans are underway for a grand opening in early 2016. The public will be invited. Limited classes are being held in the new facility this semester. For information on programs and classes, call admissions toll free at 877.332.8682 or visit www.coastalpines.edu.
