Elkins Constructors is Top Sponsor of OTC Foundation Toolbox Scholarship Golf Tournament
Friday, October 18 at Okefenokee Golf Course
Elkins Constructors, Inc., will enter two teams in the OTC Foundation “Tee It Up For Tools” Golf Tournament to raise money for the Toolbox Scholarship Fund. Todd Rampley (left), Director of Development for Elkins, dropped by the OTC Waycross campus recently to promote the fundraiser and visit with OTC President Dr. Glenn Deibert.
Elkins Constructors provides a full range of preconstruction and construction services with customized solutions and has offices in Jacksonville, Savannah, Atlanta, and Valdosta. The Elkins team provides construction expertise in Florida, Georgia, and seven other southern states in the areas of Construction management, general contracting, and design-build.
During the visit, Rampley shared with Dr. Deibert other educational organizations that Elkins has supported in the region recently as part of their commitment to give back to the communities in which Elkins employees work and do business. Deibert and Rampley also discussed the many advantages of technical education and how high school students can take advantage of initiative programs at OTC that would give them a jump start on their post-secondary plans.
Dr. Deibert thanked Rampley on behalf of Foundation trustees and OTC staff and students. “We would not be able to hold the fundraiser year after year without the significant help of our sponsors,” stated Cindy Tanner, executive director of the OTC Foundation. “Our sponsors enable us to meet our fundraising goals in order to meet the financial needs of students.”
“As a platinum sponsor, Elkins Constructors will enjoy recognition before, during, and after the event,” continued Tanner. “Additionally, an Elkins representative will have an opportunity to speak before play, and Elkins will be recognized as a corporate sponsor on a range of signage and promotional items.”
The OTC Foundation Toolbox Scholarship tournament is Friday, October 18, at the Okefenokee Golf and Country Club and begins with lunch at 11:30 a.m. Golfers begin play at 12:30 p.m. For more information, contact Cindy Tanner at (912) 287-5829 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
