Dr. Pete Snell, Vice President for Economic Development

Coastal Pines Technical College (CPTC) President Dr. Glenn Deibert is pleased to announce Dr. Pete Snell as the vice president for economic development, effective January 26. Dr. Snell has worked in economic development with the Technical College System of Georgia (TCSG) for the past 15 years. Prior to being hired at Coastal Pines, Snell worked at Chattahoochee Technical College, Swainsboro Technical College, and most recently, West Georgia Technical College. He earned his Bachelor of Mathematics from Florida Atlantic University, Master of Public Administration from Kennesaw State University and Doctor of Education from the University of Georgia.
Dr. Snell brings a wide variety of experiences to Coastal Pines Technical College, including community education, corporate training, Quick Start training, fundraising, community relations, and partnerships with local and regional development authorities, chambers of commerce, the Department of Labor, the Workforce Investment Board, and college and career academies, among others. He is thrilled to begin working with CPTC and looks forward to collaborating with the entire Coastal Pines team to fulfill its mission of providing quality workforce development solutions for the region.
