Coastal Pines Technical College (CPTC) hosted the Waycross-Ware County Chamber of Commerce monthly “Rise & Shine” breakfast mixer, Tuesday, October 13. The early morning networking event was attended by a large number of faithful chamber members and some newbies who enjoyed a delicious breakfast buffet and fellowship.
Dr. Glenn Deibert, CPTC president, welcomed the group to the event held in the Economic Development Training Center, Building 6000. Following Dr. Deibert’s welcome, attendees shared information about their business and upcoming community happenings.
Eva Byrd, executive director of the Waycross-Ware County Chamber of Commerce, thanked those in attendance, and Dave Callaway encouraged everyone to attend the next Rise and Shine event.

The popular program allows high school students to receive college and high school credit simultaneously. Classes are usually held at the high school and are free to students. Other CPTC staff, including Dr. Abe Pallas (to Eryn’s right) and Amanda Morris, also commented on college programs during the Chamber breakfast.
