Hazardous Communication (Right to Know) 29CFR1910.1200
The purpose of Hazard Communication Standard (29 CFR 1910.1200), also referred to as the “Right to Know Standard,” is to communicate the potential health and safety hazards and safe work practices required for the chemicals used in your facility. This is an annual requirement by the OSHA Standard. Course objectives are Hazard Awareness, Container Labeling, Material Safety Data Sheets, and Safe Work Practices. Knowledge is your most important tool for ensuring your safety.
OSHA Construction Outreach Training
Construction Industry Outreach is a voluntary training program through which OSHA has authorized trainers to teach construction occupational safety and health standards. The students completing the outreach course will be issued an OSHA card for either General Industry or Construction Industry. Students must pass a test at the end of the course to receive their cards and certificates. CPTC will offer both the 10-hour and 30 hour courses.
This training program is designed to assist you or your employees in becoming an authorized operator of forklifts. Only trained and authorized personnel must operate forklifts. Each company must train and certify the operators. Training and certification will be on your company forklifts and includes two hours of classroom instruction with a written evaluation. A hands-on road test to evaluate the operator’s driving ability and safety procedures is administered after classroom training. CPTC can also assist in setting up your fork-truck training program.
