Business Healthcare Technology Student to Graduate with National Healthcareer Association Certifications

Emily Royal, a Business Healthcare Technology (BHT) student at Coastal Pines Technical College (CPTC) is an upcoming graduate for the fall 2019 semester who deserves special recognition. Emily will be graduating with her Business Technology Medical Specialization Diploma after completing the summer 2019 semester, and will graduate with her Business Healthcare Technology Degree upon completion of the fall 2019 semester.
Just recently, Emily tested for 3 National Healthcareer Association (NHA) certifications and passed all three with flying colors! Emily earned the Medical Administrative Assistant (CCMA) certificate, the Electronic Health Record Specialist (CEHRS) certificate, and finally the Billing and Coding Specialist (CBCS) certificate. Emily is the first student in the BHT Program to have taken these certifications. A job well done to Emily!
The National Healthcareer Association (NHA) is NCCA (National Commission for Certifying Agencies) accredited and offers the following certification exams:

Phlebotomy Technician (CPT)
Medical Administrative Assistant (CMAA)
EKG Technician (CET)
Electronic Health Record Specialist (CEHRS)
Pharmacy Technician (CPhT)
Billing and Coding Specialist (CBCS)
Patient Care Technician/Assistant (CPCT/A)
