Another Strong Semester for Coastal Pines Technical College!
Fall semester started back on Monday, August 20, 2018, at Coastal Pines Technical College (CPTC) with a bang! After a quiet break between summer and fall semesters, the halls were bustling with excitement from new and returning students at all Coastal Pines campuses.
This 2018 Fall Semester makes the seventh consecutive semester CPTC has achieved an enrollment increase over the same semester the previous year. With more than 3,476 students applying and enrolling in fall classes, CPTC enrollment increased 423 students (13.9%) over Fall of 2017, hitting a new record high! Over the past seven semesters, CPTC’s enrollment growth has ranged from 7.7% to 30% each semester. For Dual Enrollment alone, there was a 23.68% increase since Fall 2017. With an increase of exactly 350 students enrolled in Dual Enrollment courses, CPTC’s dedicated and hard working staff is to be commended for a job well done. Coastal Pines’ President Dr. Glenn Deibert stated, “Our strong dual enrollment program for high school students, new program offerings and the Hope Career Grant are contributing factors to our continuing growth at the College.”
October 11, 2018, will begin Term B courses at Coastal Pines Technical College. It is not too late for anyone to register and take courses during fall semester. October 11, 2018, will begin Term B courses at CPTC. These courses are offered in a more condensed fast-paced learning environment. For more information about Term B courses and to register, contact the Admissions Office at any CPTC campus. The deadline to register is October 10, 2018.
