A Message From Our President
On behalf of the faculty and staff, welcome to Coastal Pines Technical College (CPTC). Our mission is to support the workforce development and lifelong learning needs of the communities, businesses, and industries in our thirteen-county service delivery area in Southeast Georgia.
CPTC is a college focused on student success. We offer quality academic programs that lead directly to employment or that transfer to four-year colleges or universities. Many of our services are free, and our programs are accessible, affordable, and convenient. We offer flexible class scheduling through day, evening, weekend, and online courses. CPTC instructors meet students where they are educationally in order to help them get where they want to be.
As a unit of the Technical College System of Georgia, we offer degree, diploma and certificate programs as well as adult education, English as a Second Language (ESL) classes and workforce development services. The College’s Move on When Ready (dual credit) programs provide exceptional opportunities for Georgia high school students to take college level courses, and earn credit toward a high school diploma and a college degree at the same time. Additionally, job placement and financial aid assistance are available – including the HOPE Grant, HOPE Scholarship and the Hope Career Grant.
Through agreements with the University System of Georgia and partnerships with two- and four-year colleges and universities, it is much easier to reach your ultimate educational destination, if you choose to pursue another degree or credential after graduating from CPTC.
CPTC continues to grow by adding in-demand courses and programs that allow our students access to the latest industry trends. New facilities and renovations provide students with state-of-the-art classrooms, labs and equipment.
As you view our website, you will find information to help you take the next step toward reaching your educational and career goals. Thank you for visiting Coastal Pines Technical College. Be sure to like us on Facebook and follow us on Twitter. We hope to hear from you soon.
