Altamaha Technical College offers ServSafe Certificate course
(January 16, 2013) – Altamaha Technical College’s Division of Economic Development is offering a ServSafe course at two of its five campuses this spring. The course is intended for those who may have let their ServSafe Certificate expire, need a refresher in food and kitchen safety or have new hires that need to be certified.
Dates and campus locations of the courses are as follows:
Golden Isles Campus (Golden Isles Career Academy, 4404 Glynco Parkway, Brunswick) – January 22 and January 24, February 26 and February 28.
Camden Campus (The Camden Center, 8001 The Lakes Boulevard, Kingsland) – January 22 and January 24, February 19 and February 21.
Session times are from 5:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. The course is provided by a certified instructor and includes ServSafe test preparation, text book and testing. Cost is $100 per person, and the book and test voucher is $68. Registration is suggested at least seven days prior to the class start date for text review and test preparation.
