Glynn County Farm Bureau Scholarship Applications Available for CPTC Students

The Glynn County Farm Bureau (GCFB), in coordination with Coastal Pines Technical College, is awarding a student scholarship. It will be a one year $1,000 maximum award scholarship. The recipient of the scholarship is eligible for $500 per semester for each semester they are enrolled full time, taking a minimum of 12 semester credit hours. If the recipient is registered as a part time student, the semester scholarship award is $300.
The semester scholarship award will be available to pay the cost of books, fees, field trips, assessments, and additional expenses not covered by other grants or scholarships.
The student to be awarded the GCFB scholarship will be selected by the Glynn County Farm Bureau Scholarship Committee and must be a resident of Glynn County. The student must be in good academic standing with a grade point average of at least 3.0 for associate degree students and a 2.5 GPA for diploma/ technical certificate of credit students. Possible waivers may be granted regarding the required GPA after reviewing special circumstances.
Applications must be submitted by July 31, 2015 to the Golden Isles Campus Financial Aid Office of Coastal Pines Technical College.
